Short Story
This project is for both English 9 and Social Studies 9.
For Social Studies, students will be assigned an ancient god or goddess to research and create a "game card."
For English, each student will use his/her research to write a modern day short story where the god/goddess appears.
The THREE PAGE short story must include:
1: Describe a modern day situation in which your God/ Goddess appears.
2: Showcase the God/Goddess's strengths and weaknesses.
3: Focus on the God/ Goddess as the main character.
4: Develop at least one other main character that has a clear relationship with your God/ Goddess.
5: Have a well-established setting.
6: Follow the typical plot format (exposition, rising action, conflict, climax, falling action, resolution)
