Welcome to the 9^th grade!!

I hope your high school years will be fulfilling, productive, memorable, fun and above all, successful!

Ninth grade is a transitional year for many students; some easily rise to the occasion while others struggle with the change. I have designed this page to make English 9 an easier place to be, and an even easier place to leave!

We are currently finishing up our Short Story Unit. I will go over how to write a critical lens essay with the students and they will have the rest of the week to complete the assignment.
