Going from the senior Emperor of the west to Emperor of the entire Holy Roman Empire. He created religious tolerance and turn most people in Holy Roman Empire in to Christians. |
Constantine was born in 280 A.D. in Naissus and died May 22, 337. When his father died, he was announced Emperor of the West. Later on, Constantine defeated Lincinuis in 324, Constantine became ruler of the entire empire. He created a capitol of the East which was named after him (Constantinople). He converted to Christianity to 312. Constantine believed that the church and state should be as close as possible. Constantine was tolerant of religions. When he died, the empire was divided into regions. Each region was ruled by one of his sons.
Constantine was also known as Constantine the Great. He carried out a series of reforms to modernize his army and the administration. He was known as one of the best emperors in history. He created the western capitol of the West Roman Empire which was named after him (Constantinople). He was also remembered for his conversion to Christianity. His followers also converted to Christianity and they were saved from persecution.
Mars by Gustav Holst because it sounds like it’s from the time period and it gives me a vibe of an emperor. It is a harsh tone and it is at a high pace like someone defeating someone else. For example, Constantine defeating Licinuis which made Constantine emperor of whole Roman Empire.
George Clooney because he sort of looks like Constantine and he gives me the vibe of an emperor. George Clooney reminds me of someone from his time period. George Clooney is very popular during our time period and Constantine was very popular during his time period.
