His greatest achievement was being a Roman Emperor

Marcus was born April 26, 121 A.D. Marcus was educated throughout his childhood by the best of roman tutors. Marcus’s Uncle Antonius, who ruled Rome at the time adopted him from his parents. When his uncle died Marcus took the throne at the age of 16. He married Antonius’s daughter. They had a daughter in 147 A.D. In 161 A.D., they had two sons, producing a future heir (Commodus). As emperor, Marcus got Rome involved in a war that him and his son would lose. When Marcus died he passed the war onto his son, and heir.

Marcus Aurelius is most remembered for his political achievements. Political achievements, such as being a Roman Emperor at sixteen. As ruler he was also known for lowering taxes for the poor, and trying to make gladiator fighting less violent.

If I were to think of a theme song for Marcus Aurelius, it would be Viva La Vida. This is because the song is about a once powerful ruler, and it mentions roman cavalry.

If a movie was to be made about Marcus Aurelius, I would have Chuck Norris play the role of Marcus. I would have Chuck Norris play Marcus, because he has an awesome beard like one of Marcus’s bust and he would be great at leading Rome into war.
