Plato was born in 428 B.C. in Athens, Greece. Both of Plato’s parents were admired in Athens. When Plato was younger he was taught by Socrates. Socrates was a Greek thinker who thought of a method of teaching by asking questions. As Plato got older his occupation became as a writer. Plato’s greatest achievement that he had was writing “The Republic.” Plato died in 348/347 B.C. They didn’t know when he really died between these two years.
Plato was most remember for the book he wrote “The Republic.” It was written c.370 B.C. “The Republic” told us many of Plato’s ideas that were about the government and justice. The book is known for the description of Sparta. The book was read by a lot of people during the time.
1. If I was to write a biography about Plato I would name it “You are Remember for what you Write.” I would call it this because he was a writer for his job. Also, I would call it this because his greatest achievement was from the book he wrote “The Republic.” I thought of this title because you are remember for what you write. If you’re a good writer people will buy more of your books, but if you’re a bad writer no one will buy them.
5. If there was a movie being made about Plato’s life I would think that Jake Gyllenhaal would star. I think that he would start because he and Plato look kind of alike. I would also pick him because he is a very good actor portraying in the Ancient Greek roles. In the movies he has done had to be all different things a bubble boy, a cow boy, a scientist son, and more roles I think he would be able to play the role of Plato. Jake Gyllenhaal won 3 Oscars from his movie “Brokeback Mountain.”
