HOW IS MY GRADE CALCULATED?

HOMEWORK:  20% of final grade.

•      Homework is assigned 3-4 times a week. It is

            expected that the assignments will be handed in

            completed and on time.

•      All homework assignments can be re-done  for a

            higher grade if needed.

•      In the event of an absence, all missed homework

            assignments are expected to be made up as soon as

            possible. 

•      If you need a reminder of the day's assignment, you

            can call the school 943-5665 ext (1784) for

            Mrs. Decker's homework box.

•      Homework assignments will also be posted on this

            website.

•      ALL HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE NO

            LATER THAN 1 WEEK AFTER ITS DUE DATE.

CLASSWORK:  20% of final grade.  Periodically assignments completed in class

                        will be collected and graded.  Students will have the opportunity to

                        make  corrections on classwork for a higher grade.

QUIZZES:  30 % of final grade.

•     Quizzes are given on average of once a week.

•     If you miss a quiz due to an absence, it must be made

           up as soon as possible.

•     Quizzes that are failed can be re-taken.

           The failed grade will be averaged with the new grade.

TESTS: 30% of final grade.

•     Tests will be given at the end of a unit.

•     There are no re-takes on failed tests.

            Students are expected to have already reviewed test

            material and stayed after school for help if needed.

THERE WILL BE NO EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENTS GIVEN
